My Eldest Daughter - Part 1
When you see my eldest daughter for the first time, without talking to her, you will think that she is just another ordinary girl. However, when you get to know her well, you will see that she has a very strong personality.
From the beginning, as a toddler, I already saw that she was stubborn. And as a relatively young mother at that time who did not know anything about parenting, I did not tolerate that. That is why she developed a mindset that I love her sister - who was more obedient - more than her.
When someone coined the words “small but terrible” and “feisty”, he must have in mind someone with the personality of Jennifer. It is only recently when I had already retired from my job that I discovered the many facets of Jennifer’s personality, which I think are very positive. I know right from the start that being stubborn is not bad, for as long as one is stubbornly right. In fact, I think good leaders must be stubborn. They must not be swayed by the flow of what is “in”, if being “in” is not right. And for this reason, Jennifer is not a “people pleaser”. If you are doing something that is not right, she will tell it to your face. And if being a “people person” means someone who can empathize with someone, she definitely is one.
