Hooray for Manny Pacquiao
Finally, it’s over. Manny did not fail us Filipinos. He won over Margarito, the Tijuana Tornado, and for this, he earned the unprecedented eighth world title – the super-welterweight title . Although this is the hardest fight he ever fought, his determination to win carried him through.
Pacquiao tried many times to knock down Margarito, but failed. Margarito is really very strong, and his strong determination to fight to the end shows just how determined he was in spite of being so badly battered and beaten. For that, he was also applauded in the end.
Truly, this is the best fight of Pacquiao. Again, cheers for Manny Pacquiao!
Manny Paquiao apart from being an excellent boxer is a human in his emotion. He could easily knock down Antonio Margarito on the 10th round because of the latter’s blooded face but Manny did not do it. Manny knew the opponent was badly hurt and he does want to further endure Margarito. My opinion was based on the last 3 rounds of the boxing when I saw Manny just trying to elude Margaritos fist and throwing sporadic light punches on him. I heard the same opinion from Ronnie Natanielz on Channel 4 when interviewed at Good Morning Show. :)
ReplyDeleteManny is truly a champion! Hats off for him! :) (comment from Jolly Princess)
