Family, career, love life, sex or religion?

In a recent issue of The Philippine Star, the question in the Inbox World was:  “What is  the most important – family, career, love life, sex or religion?”

Most readers are united in their opinion that all are very important.  But most rated family as the most important.  Others chose career over the others.  One chose sex.

Since the Bible should be our standard of what is right  or wrong, let us see what it says about this.  Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” This would mean that we need to let God be the number one in our life.  If we do that, everything will fall into its right place.  When we put God first, He will bless us with a good family, we will have work that is rewarding, and we will learn how to love our family the right way.  We may not become rich, but all our needs will be provided.  We have a great and amazing God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, loving, merciful, forgiving, and faithful in His promises.
