My heart overflows with gratitude

It’s so good to be in church every Sunday. I like to worship the Lord with songs of praise. My heart just overflows with gratitude to the Lord every time I think of everything that God has done in my life. Although life has not been easy for me, the struggles and the different kinds of challenges  I had gone through made me lean on him and trust him all the more.  I am thankful to the Lord in the midst of anxieties for the future, especially for the sake of my brother who is mentally challenged. I rest on the knowledge that God’s love will see my brother through in life. Even though sometimes I can’t help the fact that I am 16 years older than him, and the possibility that I might go first… The assurance that God’s love will see him through is there. "I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 89:1
