The Son of the Philippine Dictator Marcos for President?

Senator Bongbong Marcos had said he would not run for a second term as senator, but was instead aiming for a higher office, which is the presidency or the vice presidency.

Yes, Senator Bongbong Marcos, the only son of the late Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos, is saying that he may run for president in next year’s elections, but that he has not yet firmed up that decision because “it is extremely hard to make a decision at this point.”

However, since public opinion surveys currently show there is little support for Bongbong Marcos as president, he may instead run for the vice presidency on a ticket with Jejomar Binay.

Why would anyone partner with Jejomar Binay who is facing widespread accusations of corruption, if he himself is not corrupt?

I have nothing against the son of the Philippine dictator; in fact I appreciate him for defending the OFW on the issue of the balikbayan boxes.

I hope that the Filipino voters will vote wisely – that they would elect candidates with good moral character, with proven integrity, and excellent capabilities.

We deserve the government that we have because we vote the officials that will govern us. I heard someone say that Bongbong is a different from his father. Granting that he is the opposite of his father, yet it is wise for us to learn from history.

I hope that the poor will not sell their votes.

Dear God, please give us wisdom to select the right people who will govern our country. Please bless the Philippines.....
