Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone! Looking back to 2012, I would say that it was a good year . I did have my share of joys and heartaches, but I did not focus on sad and bad things, but instead meditated on God's promises and His faithfulness and protection.
In the middle of last year, I experienced a major change in our household. From six members in our household (my youngest daughter and her husband, my youngest brother and his caregiver, me and my husband), it was trimmed into two, and although it was kind of sad to be separated from the people I love, I still think it is for the best, considering the situation.
Last year, I made a New Year’s resolution for the year 2012, but I am so sorry I was able to only partially fulfill it. Sadly, many times, I slid back to my comfort zone. And I think it was because of my basic nature. Being a loner, I love solitude most of the time.
So, this year, my New Year’s resolution is still the same. And I hope I can do better this year.
