My High School/College Friends: Then and Now

Last year, I had the opportunity to visit my friends in Cebu City.  We could still  recognize each other in spite of some differences from the last time

we saw one another.  Below are some old pictures way back 47 years ago and our pictures taken last year.

Some people would say that we looked better when we were young, but definitely, as we grew older (and wiser), we acquired self-confidence.  I think the reason behind this is that we have gained a lot of experiences, both happy and sad, including achievements, disappointments and discouragements in life.  It is by the grace of God that we were able to surmount all the obstacles that we encountered in our life's journey.
