Why I voted for Noynoy

In my household, I was the only one who voted for Noynoy Aquino.  The others voted for the other candidates such as Richard Gordon, Bro. Eddie, and Gibo Teodoro.  They have valid reasons.   I listened to the reasons for their choices, which are really very good, and their reason for not choosing Noynoy.  They told me that  Noynoy did not accomplish much as a  congressman and  later as a senator.  But I stood pat on my decision.  This is because at this time in our country, what we need most is an honest president.  And besides, although initially, Aquino was reluctant to be the leader of this country, deep in my heart, I believe that  when he finally decided to lead, he will do his best.  He will not fail the legacy of his famous parents.  Among all the presidential candidates, he is the only one known well in other countries, which is an advantage for our country whenever he goes to these countries to get more investments that would translate to more jobs and opportunities for Filipinos.

Now that we have a new president, it is very important that we pray for him and rally behind him.  Let us help our country prosper by supporting him.

Let us remember what the Holy Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1,2:  "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." So let us pray for our new president that God will bless him with good health and give him wisdom in all the decisions that he has to make.
