Our house after the renovation
God used the recent catastrophe (typhoon Ondoy) to show His boundless grace to me and my family. He is our provider. His grace is beyond measure. To our family, Ondoy was a blessing in disguise. Just like the others who were hardly hit, our house was so dirty, damaged, and a complete mess immediately after Ondoy. Over the years, I was able to accumulate so many things that later became eyesores when they got so old and unused. I had been regularly disposing many things that we didn’t use anymore, but was so hesitant to discard a lot of my old letters and other things. I had been telling my daughters that when I am gone, bahala na silang mag dispose/discard of my things. But it was Ondoy who did that for me. My house is now very clean and in good condition after the renovation, with all the mess gone!
The pictures below were taken after the house renovation.
Thank you dear God! You are my PROVIDER, my PROTECTOR, my KING, my SAVIOR! To GOD Be The Glory!
ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, TO THEM WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE. (Romans 8:28)
Yes, I can see that your house is very clean and orderly. I, too have a lot of attachments for my old things, letters, photos, etc. If I know my son and his wife enough, I'm sure they will just throw everything away. The reason why I'm keeping some of our old things is that we were planning to build a vacation house in our property in Barili and also transfer the shellcraft business there. I'm not sure if that can still be realized as it seems time is catching up on us and we have not yet sold the property which it stands on today. Kudos to you for a beautiful, clean; orderly home and for all the effort thrown into it. you seem to be tireless! Did you say that you are easily tired now? It doesn't show at all.

How wonderful to know that the Lord has graciously provided you a nice and beautiful home after the flood. It's a blessing indeed. (comment from Flor Oamil)
ReplyDeleteGod has a purpose why Ondoy hit the Philippines.. and for you, Ate Lyn. God did not leave you nor forsake you in time of need like. As long as we trust in Him, He will do a miracle to us. God bless.. (comment from Glorita Vicedo)
